Founded in 2006, the Chicago, Illinois office is O’Hagan Meyer’s original location and continues to serve as its headquarters. From its early days, the office has played a defining role in shaping the firm’s litigation-focused culture and national growth. The Chicago team includes a broad group of partners, senior counsel, and associates handling a wide spectrum of complex matters, with particular depth in labor and employment defense, commercial and business litigation, professional liability, class and collective actions, directors and officers litigation, insurance coverage, construction and architects and engineers matters, data privacy and cybersecurity, products liability, NIL, tort litigation, financial services litigation, healthcare and medical malpractice defense, and appellate advocacy. Located in one of the nation’s leading commercial, financial, and transportation hubs, the Chicago office serves clients across industries central to the Midwest and national economy. This includes manufacturing, financial and insurance services and securities, technology and data-driven businesses, healthcare and life sciences, construction and design professionals, transportation and logistics, real estate and community associations, hospitality, nonprofit organizations, sports and entertainment, and emerging technologies such as biometric and artificial intelligence. In addition to its litigation practice, the Chicago team is deeply engaged in the legal, insurance, and business community, with attorneys holding leadership roles in bar associations, professional organizations, civic boards, and industry groups. They also regularly speak and write on developments in employment law, AI, privacy and cybersecurity, professional liability, and complex litigation.

As the firm’s founding office, Chicago continues to serve as a key center for both regional and national clients.
