Colleen O'Dwyer brings extensive and proven skill to resolving state and federal court civil disputes. From case inception through trial, she handles challenging claims involving complex commercial litigation. Her experience ranges from general liability, complex torts, and medical malpractice lawsuits to professional liability, construction law, and employment claims. Colleen is valued for the highest level of competency and success in conducting depositions, leveraging alternative dispute resolution forums, excelling in court hearings, and in designing versatile overarching litigation and trial strategy.
Having earned myriad successes conducting mediations, negotiating settlement agreements, and in obtaining the dismissal of cases via dispositive motion practice, Colleen also excels in the courtroom and at trial, where her oral advocacy skills shine through. She has earned a stellar reputation as a well-respected advocate who always works her cases with her clients’ desired outcome at the forefront. Earlier in her career, Colleen’s focused her litigation practice on the defense medical malpractice and complex tort disputes, general liability cases, and labor and employment law matters, including collective bargaining contract negotiations and first chairing trials before administrative bodies. She also brings experience to navigating clients through bankruptcies, particularly Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases involving product liability issues.
