Overview

Overview

O’Hagan Meyer’s Washington, D.C. practice is primarily supported by the Firm’s Alexandria, Virginia and Columbia, Maryland teams of attorneys, who are licensed to practice in the District and regularly represent clients facing litigation before the D.C. Superior Court and federal courts. Our team serves employers, businesses, boards, and institutions across a range of industries and appears before District courts, administrative agencies, and federal forums addressing D.C.-based issues.

The D.C. practice draws on the Alexandria office’s core strengths, with a strong emphasis on labor and employment litigation and counseling, complex civil and commercial litigation, professional liability, and regulatory compliance. Attorneys defend employers against discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, disability accommodation, and wrongful termination claims, and advise clients on compliance with District-specific employment laws. The team also handles business disputes, data privacy and cybersecurity issues, and related civil defense matters.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Firm, attorneys supporting our Washington, D.C. practice provide practical, experienced representation in matters that cross jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks, delivering exceptional litigation results, reflecting both our litigation depth and regional insight.
