O’Hagan Meyer is excited to announce the addition of Dennis D. Strazulo. Mr. Strazulo is a seasoned employment lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in representing management and employers in a full range of employment disputes, from wage and hour collective actions to federal and state law discrimination and harassment claims. Mr. Strazulo also specializes in providing counsel to sports/entertainment industry clients. He joins the firm to become the managing partner of its San Francisco office, and will take the lead role in developing O’Hagan Meyer’s emerging Sports Practice group.

Mr. Strazulo is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer. He also provides daily advice to executives and human resource professionals on navigating the challenging landscape of California Employment Law, handling disputes regarding wrongful termination, wage and hour compliance, sexual harassment, discrimination, and severance and employment agreements. Some of his successes include obtaining a defense verdict against a $6M breach of employment agreement lawsuit brought by a former Silicon Valley engineer against a data storage company and obtaining multiple advantageous verdicts for his production studio and restaurant industry clients in misclassification hearings before the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) in California.

“We’re thrilled to add Dennis to our EPL team in California. Dennis comes with a breadth of experience and knowledge of diverse employment matters”, said co-founding partner, Kevin O’Hagan. “Dennis is an innovative thinker and natural leader. He exemplifies himself to the highest of standards and we are lucky to work alongside him”.

During his professional career, Mr. Strazulo has a distinguished history of serving as a managing partner at three law firms – where he created a positive culture among dedicated and hard-working employees. Prior to joining our firm, he founded the respected Strazulo Fitzgerald LLP firm in San Francisco which later became the first California office of a national law firm. An accomplished negotiator, Dennis brings to clients a media/communications background and unique blend of practicing employment law and advising sports and entertainment clients in California.

In addition, Mr. Strazulo is a frequent lecturer to national audiences on complex employment law issues, strategic case management, and mediation tactics.

Mr. Strazulo earned two undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of San Francisco (BA in English; BA in Communications Arts/Mass Media Studies) and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law at Kendrick Hall. He is an active member of the State bar of California and is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and Sports Lawyers Association, and is recognized as a California Super Lawyer.

Please join us in welcoming Dennis!
