O’Hagan Meyer is pleased to announce the addition of four new trial attorneys to its Chicago office. The group is led by Eric Stubenvoll and Katherine Jones, and also includes Christina McClernon, and Meghan Daley. Accompanying the group are paralegal and support staff members Mimi Muench and Jennifer Dale. All join us from Kanaris, Stubenvoll & Heiss, P.C.

The addition of this team is yet another step in O’Hagan Meyer’s growth in the area of architects and engineers liability defense, as well as the practice areas of construction, products liability, professional liability, transportation and commercial litigation. Eric Stubenvoll, Katherine Jones and the team will continue their longstanding practice in all of these areas. The group will continue to represent design professionals, lawyers, accountants and insurance brokers in litigated matters and continue to advise them on contract formation, risk mitigation and insurance issues.

The team also specializes in products liability defense and transportation. Over the past 20 years, this has included the defense of commercial and consumer products in almost every major manufacturing industry. A significant portion of the team’s product liability practice entails serving as national counsel for several manufacturers, defending and when necessary trying, their cases across the country. The team also routinely represents commercial drivers, motor carriers, and insurers in the transportation industry. They defend personal injury, wrongful death, and cargo claims, and evaluate and litigate property, casualty and cargo insurance coverage disputes.
