Overview
Shannon Prokop is an associate in the Seattle office, where she practices within the firm’s Labor & Employment group. Her practice focuses on defending employers in litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and other employment-related claims. Shannon's litigation experience also includes condominium association disputes, commercial contract matters, and healthcare-related litigation.
Shannon particularly enjoys getting to know her clients, diving into the facts underlying claims, and helping clients navigate difficult and often stressful situations.
Before joining O’Hagan Meyer, Shannon worked in-house at Providence St. Joseph Health, where she gained experience with healthcare, regulatory, and contract matters.
Shannon is also proud of her pro bono work with the Seattle Clemency Project, where she assisted in the representation of an incarcerated individual who was ultimately granted clemency after serving more than two decades in prison.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing (anything outdoors), weightlifting, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her two cats.
