Overview

Hillary Weinstein is an experienced litigator focusing on civil defense matters, including employment discrimination, catastrophic personal injury, commercial disputes, and class actions. Hillary brings a distinctive perspective to her practice, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants across a wide range of civil matters.

Before joining O'Hagan Meyer, Hillary co-founded a small law firm where she represented plaintiffs in consumer class action litigation, insurance bad-faith cases, and appeals. She has also provided legal counsel to nonprofit organizations and foundations. Earlier in her career, Hillary practiced at a large international law firm, concentrating on complex commercial disputes and defending copyright infringement class actions.

Following law school, Hillary completed a year-long fellowship through the Philadelphia Bar Association at the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Community Defender. During law school, she served as an extern with the prosecution team at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands. Most recently, Hillary served on the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity (“PLSE”), an organization that provides assistance and education to indigent individuals seeking pardons and expungements of their criminal records.
