Overview

Carla's work primarily involves litigation and counseling on federal and state labor and employment matters, including issues involving discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes on an individual and class-wide basis, employee classification, and wrongful termination. She leverages her litigation experience to defend employers in single-plaintiff and other complex employment matters spanning a variety of industry sectors, including hospitality, technology, transportation, and health care.

Prior to joining the firm, Carla specialized in tort defense litigation, working seamlessly across a diverse client base. Carla's latest achievement included the representation of clients in the years long litigation of one of the deadliest structure fires in American history.

Carla believes in giving back to the community. She is passionate about volunteering and has represented low income tenants facing imminent eviction through the Housing Negotiation Project, sponsored by the Justice & Diversity Center of The Bar Association of San Francisco.
