Ashley Lopeztello is a business-oriented, practical attorney who represents public and private sector clients in complex employment litigation. Uniquely positioned with both in-house and outside counsel experience, Ashley endeavors to provide sensible and cost-effective solutions to various legal issues. By keeping apprised of California’s ever-changing employment laws, she provides forward-looking, creative advice to help employers navigate through otherwise challenging waters.

Ashley defends employers against a variety of legal issues, including wage and hour, misclassification, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination, in both individual and representative actions. She represents companies in the staffing, fashion, security, healthcare, manufacturing, and tech industries, among others. Ashley has a proven track record of guiding employers through the intricacies of California employment laws to achieve desired outcomes in litigation. She practices in federal and state courts throughout California, as well as various arbitral forums.

In addition to Ashley’s litigation practice, she regularly conducts workplace investigations and guides employers through reductions in force, leaves of absence and accommodations, and governmental agency audits. To assist in the effective implementation of best practices, Ashley provides training and seminars to managers on matters that affect the employment relationship. She also prepares tailored policies that support compliance and operational effectiveness, including employee handbooks, independent contractor agreements and severance agreements.
