Overview
Overview
Brandon Sieg represents and defends architects, engineers, and accountants faced in litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedings. With a practical understanding of their services that goes beyond legal theory, Brandon litigates and resolves professional malpractice claims, contract disputes, and licensing matters in state and federal courts.
Beyond the courtroom, Brandon counsels design and other professionals on the business decisions that prevent litigation before it starts. He negotiates professional service agreements that allocate risk intelligently, advises on regulatory compliance issues that vary wildly across jurisdictions, and handles copyright disputes over design documents.
Prior to law school, Brandon earned his architecture degree and worked at an award-winning architecture firm, where he participated in the design and construction administration of commercial and large residential projects. He prepared construction documents, coordinated with consultants, responded to RFIs, and developed a practical understanding of the construction industry. That experience has direct application in his professional liability defense practice. Brandon knows and understands what design professionals actually do, and he can see through spurious claims or opposing expert opinions about what should have been done.
Clients describe Brandon as someone who speaks their language without translation.
