Mizeille Avina is an associate attorney in the Labor and Employment Litigation Group at O’Hagan Meyer in Sacramento, California. She defends clients in a broad range of employment matters, including wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA actions, and claims involving discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation.

Before joining O’Hagan Meyer, she served as a law clerk and associate at a respected employment defense firm where she primarily represented nonprofit clients. Earlier in her career, she worked as a contracts analyst for a youth-serving organization, strengthening her interest in organizations focused on public service and community impact.

Mrs. Avina earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, she gained diverse legal experience through roles as an immigration legal assistant, a law firm assistant, and as a participant in her university’s entrepreneur law clinics.
