Overview
Erica Rocush devotes her legal practice to management-side employment law advice and counseling. Her clients range from small businesses to partnerships and institutions to large international companies operating across a multitude of industries, including construction, professional services, manufacturing, education, retail, hospitality, and healthcare, among others. She is dedicated to developing ongoing collaborative relationships with clients nationwide in order to serve as a valuable resource for all of their employment counseling needs.
Erica dedicates her practice to advising employers on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including wage and hour compliance, paid sick leave laws, performance documentation and management, leaves of absence, and the interactive process, hiring, and terminations. She guides clients through best practices for managing risk, avoiding litigation, and designing and executing employee-related policies and procedures. Erica also conducts wage/hour audits and drafts, and revises and updates all aspects of employment-related documents, including handbooks, offer letters, leave paperwork, onboarding paperwork, and severance agreements.
Moreover, Erica conducts exemption status analysis and advises on WARN Act compliance. She helps clients understand the legal risks related to discipline and termination decisions and provides practical legal solutions to reasonable accommodation and leave questions. Notably, Erica regularly provides training to employers and managers on all manners of employment law compliance. In addition, she has drafted several handbooks a week over the last decade, culminating to over 100 handbooks for every size company ranging from small businesses to multinational companies with employees in all 50 states.
