We are excited to announce that O’Hagan Meyer is sponsoring Women Owned Law’s (“WOL”) March 18, 2021 Virtual Symposium, entitled: Pivoting Forward Together: Women Entrepreneurs at the Cutting Edge of Law.  As a sponsor, O’Hagan Meyer is contributing to WOL’s vision of empowering women entrepreneurs to revolutionize the business of the law.

According to WOL, the 2021 Symposium “will feature a fireside chat, panel discussions, virtual speed networking, and an awards ceremony.”  Attendees will hear programming from women entrepreneurs, business advisors and representatives from majority-owned law firms, as well as corporations dedicated to promoting gender diversity in the law.  Sessions include: “Burnout and Resilience,” “Recognizing and Combatting Implicit Bias: An Interactive Workshop,” “Hiring & Supervising in a Virtual Environment” and “How to Be Innovative in Your Business Development Efforts.” For more information on the Symposium, click here.

Founded in Philadelphia in 2016, WOL is a network of women owned law firms that provides women entrepreneurs, their clients, and prospective clients with referral sources and strategic partners, as well as supports and enhances its members’ businesses.  O’Hagan Meyer proudly sponsored WOL’s inaugural symposium in 2020.

WOL’s 2021 Virtual Symposium is taking place during Women’s History Month.  What started as a “Women’s History Week” celebration in Santa Rosa, California back in 1978, Women’s History Month now dedicates the month of March to learning, celebrating, and honoring the history of women and their multitude of contributions in American history.
