Legal Assistant (3-5+ years)

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000
O’Hagan Meyer LLC, a national law firm, has an opening for a full-time litigation Legal Assistant in its Newport Beach, California office. Successful candidates will have 3-5+ years of experience in a law firm environment and must have labor and employment litigation experience.
Ideal candidate should have a very strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, excellent computer skills with knowledge of Excel and MS Office, including Outlook; experience with Adobe Acrobat or Juris Suite is a plus; excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; able to work independently as well as with the team; exceptional organizational skills.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of California and Federal court rules and procedures.
- Minimum of three years working as a legal secretary/assistant experience in a law firm.
- Proficiency in ECF filings and other court filing procedures.
- Advanced Word skills, including creating tables, bookmarking, and styling documents. iManage experience a plus but not required.
- Strong proofreading and editing abilities, with a focus on accuracy and grammar.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with attorneys and co-workers.

Position is full-time, M-F with the possibility of some overtime. After 90 days of training, employees may be eligible for hybrid work. Salary based on experience and included exceptional benefit package.
